These Compact Waffle Makers Will Upgrade Your Next Sunday Brunch at Home

Is there anything better than waking up on a lazy Sunday morning to the heavenly aroma of freshly-brewed coffee, buttery waffles in the works, and some sweet maple syrup? Yeah, we definitely don’t think so either. While frozen waffles will certainly suffice in a pinch, there’s really nothing that can compare to the unrivaled goodness (and sheer convenience) of homemade waffles. Of course, unlike pancakes, omelets, scrambles, oatmeal, and other breakfast food staples, waffles (whether regular or Belgium style) are a bit trickier to get right—especially if you’re not armed with the right gadgets and ingredients.

Fortunately, compact waffle makers do in fact exist, so you can make delicious waffles at home without the hassle or mess. Waffle irons are a serious godsend if you’re addicted to the next-level breakfast food, and if you’re going to do an at-home waffle day, why not do it right? Thanks to these easy-to-use kitchen sidekicks, your next at-home brunch is going to be totally Instagram-worthy (and obviously, yummy), trust me.

Kris Jenner’s Ex-Bodyguard Just Accused Her of Sexual Harassment & Racism

We’re sure this storyline won’t make its way on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kris Jenner’s bodyguard accused her of sexual harassment and racism in a new lawsuit.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Kris’ former bodyguard, Marc McWilliams, claims that he was the “subject to a pattern of unwanted and unwelcome sexual advances” while working for the momager and her eldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, from 2017 to 2018. Per the docs, McWilliams was hired as Kris and Kourtney’s bodyguard in 2017 and claims that the inappropriate behavior started in May.

In his lawsuit, McWilliams claimed that Kris made comments “of an overt sexual nature” toward him. Those comments allegedly included remarks about his physical appearance, questions about his sex life and hints that she wanted to “engage in a romantic and sexual relationship” with him. McWilliams also claims that May 2017 was when Kris first demonstrated “non-consensual physical contact,” which led to the bodyguard “repeatedly” complaining to his employer, David Shield Security. Per the suit, McWilliams also claimed that Kris made “lewd suggestive, sexual, sexist, racist, homophobic and otherwise discriminatory comments about him and his co-workers.” McWilliams also alleged that Kris often massaged his neck, shoulders, arms and back without his consent and would rest her hand on his thigh and groin, according to TMZ. Per TMZ, He also claimed that Kris would rub her pelvis against his back or his rear end while giving him massages, as well as exposed parts of her body to him. He is suing for unspecified damages.

After more than a year of working for Kris, McWilliams was “suspended” from his job as her bodyguard in September 2018. (Though he continued to work for Kourtney.) After his suspension, McWilliams was later “terminated” from his role as Kris’ bodyguard. After McWilliams’ lawsuit, Kris’ attorney, Marty Singer, shut down claims that the reality TV star ever behaved “inappropriately” around her bodyguard.

Kris categorically denies ever behaving inappropriately toward Marc McWilliams,” Singer told TMZ in a statement. “The security guard worked outside the house and he never even went into Kris’ house. “Kris had very little interaction with him. After the guard was repeatedly caught sleeping in his car while on the job, the security company was asked not to assign him to work there in the future.”

In the suit, McWilliams also claimed that Kourtney was responsible for his firing, which he alleged was retaliation for not returning Kris’ alleged sexual advances. In his statement to TMZ, Singer also denied that Kourtney did anything inappropriate to the bodyguard.”The guard never made any complaints to his employer about Kris until contriving this ludicrous claim,” Singer said. “Although Kourtney is named in the suit, she is not accused of doing anything improper with the guard, nor did she do so.”

Singer also stated, “It is outrageous that anyone can sue anyone in America and believe there is no recourse when pursuing fictional and meritless claims. When Kris and Kourtney defeat this ridiculous, frivolous lawsuit they intend to immediately sue McWilliams and his attorneys for malicious prosecution.”

These Funny Tees Are The Only Good Thing To Come Out Of The Presidential Debate

If you’re still recovering from the first presidential debate, I feel you. The entirety of the program sounded a bit like a cat fight, and frankly, I’m not sure anyone learned anything remotely helpful in deciding between the candidates (which is, you know, the whole point of having the candidate debate on national television). In fact, these Biden and Trump presidential debate shirts are the best—if only—thing to come out of the evening. Before you tune into the next debate, snag one of these tees or sweatshirts, grab the biggest bottle of wine you can find and get ready to settle in for another long night.

In case you missed the debate (or haven’t looked at Twitter yet), there was quite a bit of interruption from one particular party. Like most debates, both candidates occasionally spoke out of turn—but one had to actually be reprimanded by both his opposition and the moderator. (Hint: It wasn’t Joe Biden.) In fact, the former Vice President actually told President Trump to be quiet, saying—and this is a direct quote, if you can believe—”Will you shut up, man?!”

Biden said what we all were thinking, and now you can have this phrase (along with another moment from the debate, when Biden told the President to “Keep yapping, man.”) on a shirt. Frankly, I’ll be wearing these pieces to watch the next two debates—and it will probably serve as my only form of solace during them. If the rest of the presidential debates are anything like the first, we’re going to need a lot of t-shirts at which to laugh (while we cry). For now, at least, the options below will definitely do.

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

These Milan SS21 Fashion Week Looks Are Going On My Mood Board ASAP

Fashion month is hot and heavy, and it’s time to talk about Milan Spring/Summer 2021 Fashion Week—in particular, all the looks and shows I simply can’t stop thinking about. Given that Italy was a virus hotspot for quite some time a few months back, it was up in the air whether or not this fashion week would take place digitally or in person. Ultimately, it ended up being a mix of both, with some designers opting for intimate IRL shows and others going entirely virtual.

There were some definite high points in this season’s lineup, including a more diverse range of bodies on the runway, from Paloma Elsesser, Jill Kortleve and Ashley Graham at Fendi to Versace’s first-ever full-figured models, Precious Lee, Jill Kortleve (Again! Go girl) and Alva Claire. Of course, there’s still more than a little that needs to be done in terms of making Milan Fashion Week a more diverse and inclusive atmosphere, but inn the meantime, I’ll celebrate any small signs of progress.

Perhaps the most talked-about event of the week was Jeremy Scott’s Moschino show, which was part fashion show, part puppet show. The only attendees were marionettes, resembling famous editors and attendees including Anna Wintour, Nina Garcia, and Edward Enninful, to name a few. Likewise, the models were all marionettes as well, but that didn’t distract fashion-lovers from the beauty of the collection.

All in all, this Fashion Month looks especially different than ever before, but designers did their best to pull together gorgeous collections, even under these strange circumstances. For the most part, they delivered. My favorites, you ask? Read on for my take one the top 20 best looks of the week, in no particular order.

1. This Fashion Hole-In-One

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Prada.

Prada really played up these hole-y tops in their SS21 collection, and I’m 100% using this to justify keeping a few beloved pieces that I’ve worn holes into and really ought to throw out. Same idea, but different.

2. This Patchwork Pattern Party

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana.

Patchwork is a big trend for 2021, and Dolce & Gabbana showed quite a few print-clashing looks, my favorite of which was this frilly blouse and high-waisted skirt combo.

3. A Perfect Fuchsia Cardi

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Versace.

This Versace all-pink moment was definitely one of my top looks of the entire week. The sexy bra paired with the casual cardi, paired with the formal frilly skirt? Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes.

4. This Bowtie Jacket Situation

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Emporio Armani.

Emporio Armani’s collection was fairly subdued, but I was intrigued by the bow-front closure on this dove gray jacket. Fun and femme, no?

5. Some Cottagecore Realness

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

Honestly living for this gingham-and-rainboot moment at the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini show. Cottagecore will live on to 2021, people!

6. This Prefect Shade Of Blue

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Max Mara.

I admit that I’m not overly-obsessed with this particular outfit, but this color? On this model? It was destined to be a hit! Baby blue is huge for 2021, and Max Mara has discovered the perfect shade.

7. A Café Au Lait Ballgown

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Alberta Ferretti.

Take a moment to drink in this gorgeous dress by Alberta Ferretti. It’s the afternoon pick-me-up coffee break of evening gowns.

8. These Street Style Stripes

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Marni.

Marni’s presentation included these cool, street style-inspired settings, and I love that they paired this chic two-piece set and trench with matching sneakers for a more relaxed look.

9. A Literal Versace Mermaid

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Versace.

This is, by all standards, a perfect look. If Halle Bailey doesn’t wear something from this collection when she plays Ariel in the live-action version of The Little Mermaid, I’ll be sorely disappointed.

10. This Intricate Lattice Coat

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Fendi.

One of my favorite pieces of outerwear from the Fendi show was this milky lattice jacket. Not very practical in terms of warmth, but very practical in terms of looking incredible.

11. A Sparkly Black Dress, Natch

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Giorgio Armani.

Every fashion week needs one, and this Giorgio Armani number was the perfect dose of slinky, sparkly goodness. That neckline is seriously to die for.

12. This Sheer-But-Structured Midi

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of No. 21.

Usually, sheer dresses are wispy and romantic, so I love this more structured take by No. 21 done in Barney purple. So fierce!

13. A Denim Skirt, But So Much Better

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana.

A patchwork denim maxi skirt wasn’t on my fashion bingo card, but believe me, I’m glad to see it. Bravo, Dolce & Gabbana!

14. This Chocolatey Crochet Blessing

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Valentino.

Crochet was a huge trend for 2020, and this stunning look by Valentino proves it’ll continue to be a front-running knit for 2021. I especially love the massive crochet rosettes on the skirt!

15. A Marionette With A Bum Bow

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Moschino.

While I hope to see Moschino’s collection on real people sometime soon, I was living for their presentation, which consisted of solely marionettes. If marionettes could turn their heads, this mini dress with dramatic bow train certainly would’ve been a head-turner.

16. This Sherbert Color Combo

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Fendi.

This sickly-sweet color combo of creamsicle orange, bubblegum pink and periwinkle is so, so good. Fendi, I didn’t see this coming, but more, please!

17. This Little Women Homage

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Alberta Ferretti.

Doesn’t this Alberta Ferretti knockout just give you Little Women vibes in all the right ways? I could totally see Meg (or Amy) dying to wear this baby to a party.

18. The Best Orange Look Of The Week

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Salvatore Ferragamo.

Vibrant orange is a hot color for 2021, and my favorite orange look of the week was this sleeveless sweater and shredded midi combo by Salvatore Ferragamo. How soon can I buy this? Asking for myself.

19. Another Well-Dressed Marionette

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Moschino.

I loved the asymmetry and contrast on this Moschino gown. The print feels almost victorian, but the playful silhouette creates the perfect foil.

20. This See-Through Lilac Cloud

STYLECASTER | Milan Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Week

Courtesy of Valentino.

Let’s end on one of the dreamiest gowns of the week, this sheer bliss from Valentino. I love the styling, too—a lilac gown with green Rockstud heels? You have my attention.

Mariah Carey Just Shaded Jennifer Lopez While Explaining How Their Feud Started

There are no limits to Mimi’s shade, as evidenced by Mariah Carey shading Jennifer Lopez for the umpteenth time in her newly released memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey. The tell-all book, which was published on Tuesday, September 29, is filled to the brim with juicy details about Carey’s career—including this subtle nod at her longstanding feud with none other than Jenny from the Block.

Carey, 50, dishes out plenty of surprising details from her early days in the music industry. Before fans picked up on Mimi’s sly reference to her beef with J. Lo., her followers were talking about The Meaning of Mariah Carey‘s many stories about Carey’s past relationships. The memoir sees the “We Belong Together” vocalist revealing the reason behind her divorce with Nick Cannon, for example, along with admitting to an affair with Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees while married to her former ex-husband, music executive Tommy Mottola. When it comes to her past lovers, let’s just say that Carey was far more candid about her experiences—meanwhile, Lopez received Carey’s signature “I don’t know her” treatment.

In The Meaning of Mariah Carey, the Grammy-award winning singer writes of a “female entertainer on [Sony’s] label (whom I don’t know),” who ended up poaching a sample for a song that Carey had already licensed for herself.

"The Meaning of Mariah Carey" by Mariah Carey Image: Courtesy of Andy Cohen Books.

Buy: 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey' by Mariah Carey $17.99

Fans may remember the copying accusations that came after Carey’s “Loverboy” and J. Lo’s “I’m Real” were both released in 2001 while bearing striking similarities to one another. All these years later, Carey’s observation reminds fans of that drama while nodding to an infamous 2003 interview. At the time, Carey was asked about Lopez and replied, “I don’t know her,” even though it’s clear the singers had crossed paths before. She’s held onto the response ever since.

A source for OK! says that Lopez is “aware” of the reference. “The long-running feud between Mariah and Jennifer is definitely one-sided. Jen is aware of the book and has been told that although she isn’t name-checked by Mariah, there is stuff in it about her,” the insider told the outlet. “But Jen won’t be reading it herself.” I don’t know her, part deux.
