Moira & Calvin From ‘Love Island’ Still Look Strong Despite Losing in the Finale

They weren’t voted America’s favorite couple, but that doesn’t mean any less fans to know to Moira and Calvin are still together after Love Island USA season 2. Before we provide an update on their relationship status post-show, let’s look back at Moira and Calvin’s time in the villa—a.k.a. Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

Moira was one of the OG girls on Love Island USA season 2. She first coupled up with James, another OG, before Calvin came and took Moira on a date in week 2. After some back and forth with James (turns out, he was low-key crazy), Moira chose to recouple with Calvin, and the two stayed together until the third week when they both decided to recouple with new people. (Calvin recoupled with Sher from Casa Amor, while Moira recoupled with Aaron, a new islander at the villa.) Those relationships didn’t work, and Moira and Calvin recoupled again at the next recoupling. (Calvin with Kierstan, and Moira with Connor). That is, until Moira and Calvin came back to each other in the fifth week of Love Island and stayed together until the finale, where they came in third. The winners were Justine and Caleb. Cely and Johnny came in second. And Carrington and Laurel came in fourth.

Now, back to our original question: Are Moira and Calvin still together after Love Island USA season 2? Well, it’s only been a couple days since the finale was filmed, but so far, the couple looks strong—despite their L in the final episode.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

After the Love Island USA season 2 finale aired, Moira took to her Instagram Stories with a sweet black-and-white photo of her and Calvin with the caption: “We’re back babyy.” She also tagged her beau in the picture. The shot featured Moira and Calvin next to each other as they smiled and presumably celebrated their final moments with each other before leaving Las Vegas. Calvin, for his part, reposted the photo on his Instagram Stories. The two have also been reposting fans who have called them their “favorite couple,” so it looks like they’re committed to making their relationship work on the outside world.

While, at the time of this writing, we haven’t heard anything from Moira and Calvin about what’s in store for their relationship after Love Island, we’re hopeful that the two will keep the love going outside of the villa.

Here’s Where Cely & Johnny’s Relationship Is at After the ‘Love Island’ Finale

After their ups and downs in the villa, viewers want to know: Are Cely and Johnny still together after Love Island USA season 2? We’ll provide an update on their relationship status later, but first, let’s look back at Cely and Johnny’s time in the villa.

As fans know, Cely was one of the OG girls on Love Island USA season 2. In the first recoupling, she coupled with Tre before host Arienne Vandenberg revealed that there was another single boy waiting around the corner: Johnny. Cely and Johnny recoupled in the second recoupling and seemed like one of Love Island‘s strongest couples until Casa Amor when Johnny kissed Mercedes more than once and did something under the covers. When he returned to the villa, Johnny remained loyal to Cely, but he wasn’t completely honest about his time in Casa Amor. After Cely found out that Johnny and Mercedes did something under the covers from a game, it seemed like it almost over for Jely. However, in the end, Cely chose not to recouple with new crush Bennie and stay with Johnny. Fast forward to the finale, and Cely and Johnny came in second. (Next to Justine and Caleb. An update on their relationship here.)

Now that we have their relationship history out of the way, let’s answer our original question: Are Cely and Johnny still together after Love Island USA season 2? So far, it looks like yes. After the finale, Johnny took to his Instagram with a video of him and Cely, thanking viewers for their support.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

“Thank you guys for all the love and support. It’s been an incredible experience for the both of us,” he said while Cely hugged him from behind. “Unforgettable. But we are happy to be on the outside.”

“So happy,” Cely added.

“It’s a breath of fresh air. Thank you, guys, once again,” Johnny continued.

Cely then told fans, “Thank you so much! Jely, baby!” in reference to the couple’s nickname, Jely.

Cely, for her part, also took to her Instagram Stories with a video of her and Johnny. “What the fuck is up, guys! We are back! Jely is back. We are free,” she said with Johnny behind her. “I just wanted to come on her and say thank you guys so much for all the love and support. That was the wildest, most amazing experience, and I’m just so thankful for all of you guys for riding with us. We love, y’all! Jely, baby!”

Will they stay together? Only time will tell, but there is one islander who doubts their relationship is authentic: Mercedes. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mercedes said that she expects Johnny to hit her up in her DMs after the show. “I think he’s honestly in it for the game. He’s super fake and I will be expecting him in my DMs, so y’all will know that,” Mercades said.

She also doubted that Johnny’s feelings for Cely were real. “It’s maybe there, but I don’t know. If he was so quick to [turn]…” she said, referencing his behavior in Casa Amor. Guess fans will have to wait and see if Johnny and Cely’s relationship lasts in the real world.

3. Fringe Benefit

We saw fringe pieces all over the Fall/Winter 2020 runways, but perhaps the most prevalent was within the Prada runway show. The designer’s latest collection was filled to the brim with gorgeous fringe, and it’s already become one of the coolest fall 2020 trends to date. Autumn’s dresses are all getting elevated with this swoon-worthy detail, and we can’t wait to wear it all season long.

4. Red Hot

One of the hottest trends to come out of Fall/Winter 2020 Fashion Week was the red dress. Fiery looks showed up on runway after runway (including Valentino’s stunning show), proving that the red dress will never get old. Whether it’s a red mini, a red bodycon dress or a red slip dress, there are so many easy ways to rock the red hot trend this fall.

5. You’re A Doll

Hi, hello, and welcome to the throwback trend of the moment: the babydoll dress. With some sleek 2020 upgrades, doll-like and babydoll dresses have made their way back onto runways like Ulla Johnson’s—and subsequently, back into your favorite retailers. These flow-y frocks are set to be huge this fall, so we might as well lean into the easy, breezy and adorable style.

6. Strong Arm

We’ve seen puffy sleeves make their way into nearly every retailer’s offering this past year, and the statement sleeve isn’t going anywhere for fall. The puff sleeve has already been seen on so many summery dresses, but now it’s getting an autumn-ready upgrade, thanks to runways like the Dries van Noten show. Expect to see statement sleeves on all the cutest fall dresses this season.

For something with a less-obvious puff, this fall-ready Free People dress will let you get the statement sleeve look in a more casual way.

7. Life Is The Bubbles

Apparently everything is having a comeback, because along with babydoll dresses, bubble dresses are trending for fall 2020. We saw a blue, feathery, bubbly beaut on the JW Anderson runway, and it was a sight. The interpretation on this one is a bit loose—and some babydoll dresses are often also considered bubble dresses—but if you see that tucked-under hem, safe to say it’s a bubble dress. Try this trend with some chunky booties or dress it up with heels for an early aughts prom vibe.

If you’re not totally sold on the bubble dress trend, opt for a barely-there bubble hem. This green floral dress features a a slight bubble detail at the bottom, and it’s an easy way to test out the look.

A baby pink bubble hem mini dress? Yes, please. This cute little number is fun for all seasons.

8. Don’t Ruffle My Feathers

Bring back those ’80s bridesmaid dress vibes, baby. Ruffles are popping up in myriad fall and winter 2020 collections, thanks to runways like Carolina Herrera’s. We’re already seeing so many dresses with oversized ruffles, tiered ruffles and fun ruffly details, so you might as well get on board this season. Go maximalist with it or keep it simple—either way, these ruffle details will make you look cute AF for fall.

These Countertop Dishwashers are Definitely Worth the Investment

Everyone has at least one necessary chore that they absolutely loathe, and for me, that chore is washing the dishes—and I know I’m not alone on this one. When I moved into my new dishwasher-less studio apartment last year, I knew it was going to be a major adjustment for me to have to wash my dirty plates, cups, and cat food bowls by hand every single night, and while I do my best to keep my sink clean and dishless, from time to time, I’ll admit that I let things get a bit out of hand. My apartment was built in the 1920s and management seemingly has zero interest in modern renovations, and while I love its art deco charm, I often miss my old space’s contemporary amenities—namely, the dishwasher.

When I found out that compact, countertop dishwashers actually exist, my mind was blown, and surprisingly, they’re not as costly as you may think. For me, getting a little bit of help with my least favorite chore is priceless, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover how affordable many models actually are. While they’re clearly not going to be as robust or roomy as a conventional dishwasher, they’re a huge, huge help. Scroll through below to check out some of the best, wallet-friendly models to take for a spin yourself.

Here’s What Happened to Justine & Caleb After Winning ‘Love Island’

They found love in a hopeless place—a.k.a. Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. But are Justine and Caleb still together after Love Island USA season 2? Well, to be fair, it’s only been a day or two, but they’re “serious” about continuing their relationship in the outside world.

Justine and Caleb became the winners of Love Island USA season 2 on Wednesday, September 30, when they were voted America’s favorite couple. In second place was Cely and Johnny. In third was Moira and Calvin. And in fourth was Carrington and Laurel. Justine and Caleb also became the first Black couple to win the franchise out of any Love Island, so there’s another reason to celebrate their love.

As viewers know, Justine was one of the OGs on Love Island season 2. She didn’t have the best start after she was friendzoned by Jeremiah and Tre. Then Caleb came in during her second week and rocked her world. Though Caleb chose to recouple with Rachel at first, he switched at the next recoupling and chose Justine. On the Tuesday, September 29, episode of Love Island, Caleb revealed that Justine won him over with a 15-minute conversation right before the recoupling. The two also told each other “I love you” before the final episode, and became one of the only couples this season to say those special three words.

After winning Love Island USA season 2, Justine and Caleb received $100,000. As fans know, only one member of the winning couple receives the money. They, then, can choose to keep it or share it with their significant other. Caleb received the $100K and decided to split it with Justine because love over money, y’all.

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

Now: Back to the question we all want to know: Are Justine and Caleb still together? Well, duh, and they already have plans to make their cross-country relationship work. Caleb lives in Los Angeles, while Justine lives in New Jersey.

“That was the whole point of us giving each other a real try. We wanted to see if we could foster a real connection and we were able to do that. She really respected that I was sometimes a little bit more patient than other people around us,” Caleb told Entertainment Tonight, noting how the couple is “very serious” about making their relationship work in the real world.

He continued, “I was not trying to rush into things just because we were on this reality show. And I loved that about her, that she continued to be like, ‘Yeah, do your thing because I want us to work out.’ I think we’re primed and ready to rock and roll when we get out of the villa and starting a life together outside of here because we took our time in here. We’re going to be able to handle whatever stuff [comes].”

Justine added, “We’re still taking our time out here as well. We didn’t let winning and making it to the end change anything between us, which is why we were able to share how we felt about each other but still not rush to put a title on things even though I think we are there. I get impulsive sometimes because I think most girls are. ‘I really like this guy, I’m going to move to you!’ What I love about him is that he’s so realistic and he’s like, ‘We gotta go home, get our shit together, figure out our jobs and make those right moves when the time is right.’ I appreciate that about him.”

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

The couple also revealed that they already have plans to fly out to see each other. “The second we get our phones back, we’re talking about flights,” Caleb said. “We’ll probably see each other in a couple of weeks. We’ll probably keep seeing each together, so we can figure out a way to be in the same place—or at least the same vicinity.”

“Right now the plan is hopefully for me to be in L.A.,” Justine added.

Kristin Cavallari Reveals She’s Officially Dropping Jay Cutler’s Last Name After Their Divorce

On her own. Kristin Cavallari is dropping Jay Cutler’s name after their divorce. The Laguna Beach alum revealed in an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, September 30, that she’s ready to be legally a Cavallari again.

In the interview, the Hills alum revealed that she’s “workin on” removing her ex-husband’s last name from her own and restoring her maiden name. The conversation occurred after Seacrest noted that Cavallari’s Zoom name was still Cutler. “Your name on the Zoom should be changed,” he said. “It says Kristin Cutler on my screen.”

Buy: Watch 'Very Cavallari' on Amazon $2.99+

The Very Cavallari alum responded with a laugh, “Oh my God, I didn’t even notice that! Wow! Technically, I’m still Cutler. Working on that. I’m literally going to take a note right now to change it.”

Unaware that her Zoom name still had Cutler, Cavallari thanked Seacrest for flagging that to her.  “You’re the first person that’s said that! Thank you for pointing that out!” she said. “Appreciate it.”

Cavallari announced in an Instagram post in May that she and Cutler had separated after 10 years of marriage. The couple share three children: sons Camden, 8, and Jaxon, 6, and daughter Saylor, 4. “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” she wrote on her Instagram at the time. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

In an interview with People in September, Cavallari revealed that she and Cutler had marriage issues long before they filed for divorce in May. “I always thought it was interesting when people would refer to us as ‘couple goals.’ I was like, ‘If you guys only knew,'” she said.

The reality star also revealed that her marriage hit a low point while filming season 3 of Very Cavallari in 2019. “We definitely kept a lot of stuff private,” she said. “Producers saw stuff, but they didn’t put it in the show—which is good, because I don’t want my kids to ever [see that].”

The Best Juicers to Help You Stay on Track of Your Wellness Game

Juicing may or may not be one of the biggest wellness trends to come forth over the past years, but regardless of its trendy appeal, the practice is seemingly here to stay. While juice fasts and cleanses may be all the rage at the moment, drinking your nutrients should never take the place of committing to a wholesome and nutrient-dense diet. With that being said, however, adding a daily juice or two to your current daily routine can be an excellent way to ensure you’re consuming enough vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants—especially on those glorious cheat days where your nutrition game has taken the backseat to well, life.

Sadly, if you’re utterly dependent on your local juice place or local coffee shop to get your mandatory juice fix on the daily, this little habit can certainly add up. But frankly, it is doesn’t have to cost you a small (or large) fortune to stay on top of your fitness game—at home juicers are an easy way to give you a daily boost of nutrients and save you hundreds (if not thousands) a year. Ahead, we’ve lined up some of our favorite juice-shop-quality juicers that will put an end to your pricy addiction once and for all.
