Zayn Malik Dyed His Hair Lavender and It’s What Dreams Are Made Of

If you have a pulse, you know that 25-year-old singer Zayn Malik and 23-year-old model Gigi Hadid‘s on-again-off-again relationship is officially on again, in a big way.

When the couple first split up back on March 13 (because who doesn’t remember that day?), we were both a) shook and b) really sad. We thought they were soulmates! If Malik tattooing Hadid’s eyeballs on his chest wasn’t a sign of true love, then what is?

Anyway, the dark times are over, because ZiGi has been spotted out and about recently, partaking in extremely couple-y activities and appearing all over each other’s Instagram accounts once again.

But something’s different about Malik, and it’s his hair. Like, every day. Immediately post-breakup, he went platinum. Most fans assumed it was an attempt to move on from the heartache—hey, everyone knows getting your hair done is one of the best post-breakup pick-me-ups. Except… he kept on doing it.

In April, Malik debuted a fluorescent, minty green style. Even his eyebrows got in on the fun!

And now, he’s flaunting something even more unexpected: purple. On Monday, June 11, Malik revealed the lavender look on Instagram, sneakily including Hadid’s hand reaching out to take a flower. (Or, at least, we’re pretty sure it’s her?)
