Got A Pair Of Jeans? Then You Have Tons Of Easy Halloween Costume Options

If you’re anything like me, you follow the lazy girl’s guide to finding a Halloween costume. In other words, you’d like a costume to basically materialize out of thin air, but you’d also like said costume to be incredibly clever. That’s not asking too much, is it? Luckily, denim is the answer to our easy-but-cute costume conundrum. There are tons of Halloween costume ideas using blue jeans you can try out this year without anyone knowing you totally half-assed it.

As much as I’m all about throwing on a white sheet with some cut-out eye holes and calling it a day, the denim-incorporated ideas below are definitely better. Not only do they allow you to look cute, but they help give off the illusion that you made a ton of effort, even if you’re just coming across this list on October 30 and need something super last-minute.

Of course, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are the most iconic head-to-toe denim costume of all time, but what about Cindy Crawford’s iconic Pepsi ad? Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA album cover? If you want to be really current, you can throw on some skinny jeans, grab a Starbucks tumbler and go as a cheugy millennial.

See what I mean? So long as you’ve got some denim lying around, you’ve got options. Below, a handful of ways to make those jeans into a legit costume come October 31.

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

Cindy Crawford From Her 1991 Pepsi Spot

It doesn’t get more iconic than Cindy Crawford’s Pepsi commercial! A white tank and a pair of classic cut-off shorts complete the simple ‘fit.  Amp up your hair’s volume like crazy, draw on a mole, add some hoop earrings, and walk around with a can of Pepsi all night. Easy!

Jessica Simpson’s Infamous Laker Jersey Look

Who can forget when Jessica Simpson styled a one-shouldered Lakers Jersey look with a pair of low-rise jeans way back in the day? Not me, that’s who! To get her look at home, style your favorite basketball jersey with a pair of similar super-low rise jeans. Bonus points if it’s a Los Angeles Lakers jersey! If you weren’t a J-Simps fan, using low-rise denim to channel any early ’00s celeb is an option.

Waldo From Where’s Waldo?

If there’s one thing I remember from my childhood, it’s the vivid image of Waldo’s striped red-and-white jumper—and how dang long it took to find it in the book. Turns out, channeling Waldo’s look may just make for the easiest costume idea, ever. A pair of blue skinny jeans and a red and white striped sweater complete the look. Don’t forget round glasses and a hat!
