This Black Friday 2021, the sales are unlike anything we’ve ever seen, because instead of starting on the Friday following Thanksgiving, they started as far back as October. Maybe it’s due to the supply-chain delays, or maybe it’s the fact that shoppers are starting to search for gift ideas earlier than ever this year—either way, we’re taking advantage of these early discounts.
What are some of the best Black Friday sales you should be shopping? Well, the better question is what are some early Black Friday sales you shouldn’t be shopping, because those are easier to track down than the former. See, practically every major retailer is hosting their holiday sales early this year. It all started when Amazon shocked the retail world with its months-long event that began in mid-October. Shortly after, a slew of other major stores followed suit, including Target, Ulta, and Nordstrom.
Whether you’re looking for discounts on furniture, celebrity approved accessories, or hot-button electronics, there’s a sale out there just for you. But, to save you the time of having to parse through a bunch of sites and the thousands of deals they’ve got going, we did the work for you.

The discounts are so iconic, you’d be foolish not to take advantage of them. We’re talking 50% off Uggs, Dyson fans for $150 off, and AirPods at the lowest price of the year. When it comes to these savings, it’s best to trust your gut. Especially since the majority of these items are prone to selling out.

Amazon
Black Friday is now a few months long at Amazon, where you can shop electronics on sale for truly eye-catching prices. To find all the discounts available—they change daily—head over to the Epic Daily Deals hub, where you’ll be able to see all of the bargains in one spot. (These deals are only for Amazon Prime members, so if you don’t have a membership but still want the discounts, sign up for a free trial here.)
The one deal we can’t recommend enough is on a pair of AirPods. They’re at one of the lowest costs they’ve been all year at $159 (usually they’re $249). This, along with Le Creuset’s Dutch $120 discount, have our attention.
Tula
Now through November 28, Tula is letting you shop their entire site with free shipping. Plus, spend $75 and receive a $25 credit in return. Add the brands cooling eye balm to your cart ASAP. “I really like its cooling effect and how it feels as if it’s instantly removing puffiness and gently tightening any fine wrinkles or lines,” wrote one reviewer who gave the eye balm a perfect rating. “I bought a second one to carry with me in my purse.” Other shoppers can relate, as they, too, toss this little pink tube into their bags for quick pick-me-ups throughout the day.
Nordstrom
More than 37,000 pieces of clothing, jewelry, and shoes are on sale now at Nordstrom. Here, you can easily spot designer footwear for half off. We’re checking out this pair of UGG Fluff Yeah Slippers (they’re so on trend right now) and these ultra-comfy leggings from Zella that are a major 60 percent off.
Alo Yoga
Everything at Alo Yoga is up to 40% off for early Black Friday—no joke. Now that the yoga pants style of our pants is having a resurgence, we’re shopping this comfy pair of bell bottom leggings. The slit at the bottom is perfect for boots (it’ll show them off just like cropped pants would) and the smoothing high-waist cut is super flattering. What’s not to love?
Abercrombie
Did you ever think you’d be excited for an Abercrombie sale when you’re over 15? We didn’t either, but the resurrected brand has been popping off lately with its size-inclusive selection that includes some seriously cute Melina Pants dupes. Right now, you can save up to 25 percent on select styles. We don’t know much about whether deals will change for Black Friday, so shop till you drop while this offer lasts.
Anthropologie
Get your wallet ready right now, because this is your time to shine (and drop a lot of coin). Score a 30% discount on sale items ahead of Black Friday.
In years past, on November 28, loyalty members can save 30% on regular-priced items (some exclusions) and 50% off on sale styles. Those who aren’t loyalty members can take advantage of those same deals the next day, on Cyber Monday.
Stock up on cozy fits for the holiday season, like this ruched cozy dress that’s nearly half-off.
Good American
Do we need more jeans? No, of course not. But when the GA site is running a 25 percent off promotion, how can we possibly refuse? Rather than make us wait until Black Friday madness kicks in, this sale is letting you shop and save with plenty of time. Pretty much everything is included, although certain exclusions apply, and you best believe we’ll be putting this hefty discount to good use.
And not just on denim, friends! Good American also makes killer apparel in addition to great jeans. I mean, have you even tried their bodysuits?! Iconic. We’re big fans of the RSVP Ready collection, full of party-ready pieces like sequined wide-leg pants, body-hugging sweater dresses, slinky wrap tops and more. Oh, and did I mention shoes? GA’s boot selection is to die for.
25 percent may not feel like a lot, but when the prices are high, it can make a big difference. Plus, it’s easy to do the math in your head; everything is a quarter off. When I’m furiously adding things to my cart before they sell out, that kind of easy logic is essential to ensuring I don’t go overboard. Faux leather pants are all the rage right now, and I’ve just found the perfect pair.
Dermstore
Dermstore’s Holiday Savings Event is still on the horizon, but in the mean time, you can peruse the beauty retailers current sale offerings across the makeup, skincare and hair care categories, where select items are up to 30 percent off.
Here, you can snag the shockingly effective RevitaLash RevitaLash Advanced Lash and Brow Duo for a whopping $68 off, a lightweight hair serum that builds volume on fine, flat strands, and a collagen-packed cream from Elemis.
Our Place
Our Place just put some of its coveted cookware and dinnerware on sale early for Black Friday, and you can shop favorites for up to $30 off.
One of the best deals you can shop right now is on the brand’s OG best-seller, the Always Pan. While only one colorway is currently discounted (we’re betting more are in our future), the bold, spicy red shade is just so on point for holiday.
Best Buy
Over at Best Buy, you can save on big-ticket products, like Dyson Vacuum cleaners for $100 off and KitchenAid Stand Mixers for $200 off. We know it hurts to drop a lot of cash on expensive tech gadgets, but at least Best Buy is extending a helping hand. And it won’t hurt anymore after you start getting lots of use out of your new laptop, or when your parents rave about how much they love their new iPad.
We’re shopping the Fitbit Luxe, a health tracker that monitors your steps, heart rate, sleep, and stress. It’s super functional, but also looks nice and sleek on your wrist. Get this stylish accessory for just $100 (a.k.a $50 off).
Sephora
Sephora’s Black Friday sale is one dreams are made of, but until those deals drop, we’d recommend checking out the retailers current sale offerings—which still happen to be major, BTW.
Rouge members (meaning you spent $1,000 in the calendar year), get 20 percent off now until November 7, VIB ($300 per calendar year) get 15 percent off November 1-7, and Insider (any amount spent) get 10 percent off from November 3-7. Plus, everyone gets 30 percent off Sephora Collection makeup, skincare and tools with code SAVINGS.
Frasier Sterling
Justin and Hailey Bieber’s go-to accessory spot has necklaces, rings, and bracelets on sale for up to 30% off. You’ll have no trouble finding vintage-looking garb here. The chunky jewelry is trendy, easy to style, and in this sale section, starts at $14. Just make sure to use code FRASIER30 at checkout to unlock the discount sitewide.
Target
Target’s Black Friday 2022 deals started Oct. 10 and are running through the very end of November. Obviously, there are going to be massive discounts on the actual day of Black Friday, Nov. 26, and Cyber Monday, Nov. 29, but there are already a bunch of early discounts happening prior that are more than worth taking advantage of—especially since you may expect massive shipping delays.
Every day there will be discounts on different items, including furniture, tech, and accessories, so be sure to check in periodically for updates. Right now, you can shop best-selling headphones (including AirPods) for up to 50% off and up to 40% off tech including laptops.
Walmart
Starting Monday, Nov 7, you can shop “Black Friday Deals for Days” during Walmarts early Black Friday sale. Anything from tech to fashion to home will be included, meaning you can literally score everything on your list way ahead of schedule.
Take a sneak peek at whats to come next week, like an iPad Air, robot Roomba vacuums and Apple Watches (to name a few) for far, far less during one of the earliest Black Friday sales of the year.
Wayfair
